I Thought This Was the Day

A year ago I was breathing through contractions, expecting to hold a baby before the day's end. By bedtime though everything had come to a halt, and I was completely frustrated and anxious for this kiddo to come out.

I can't believe that in two days my little baby girl is going to be one year old.
